French and German Teacher, Wirral

  • GWS – Be part of the Catholic Schools workforce with guaranteed weekly pay
  • Temporary MFL post, September 2016, 3 months
  • CPD Opportunities – courses organised by Headteachers from the Archdiocese

Due to an absence within their languages department, our client school located on the Wirral seek to appoint a modern foreign languages teacher (KS3 / GCSE French and German) to cover a long term absence. This is a full time position expected to be required through till the Christmas break.

At our client school, the MFL department is committed to providing students with the language tools required to be successful in today’s markets. The cultural as well as linguistic development of their students is a high priority. Within the school they maintain regular pen pal links with their partner schools in France and Germany and also run two trips abroad, one early in year 9 and one at the end of year 10.

Students follow a programme of study in either French or German, but those who show a talent for languages have the option to study both languages at GCSE, as well as A-level.

The ideal candidate will have:

• UK QTS

• DBS registered on the update service

• Recent teaching references

• Immediate availability

Located on the Wirral this school is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive with a large sixth form. The school holds state of the art facilities and is easily accessible.
