A-Level German Teacher required for Outstanding All Girls Secondary School based in Trafford

Teaching Personnel are working closely with an Outstanding All Girls Grammar School based in Altrincham that are currently recruiting for a full-time German teacher who can start ASAP until the end of the school year. The role will involve planning and marking as well as delivering effective and engaging German lessons up to KS5 A-Level. You will have full teaching responsibilities and will be expected to uphold the high standards that the school have.

The school is a very prestigious all-girls 11-18 grammar school that has been a staple of the local community for over a hundred years and has an excellent reputation as one of the best schools in the North West of England. You will have a very supportive department behind you and excellent facilities throughout school. The behaviour is excellent, and you will be afforded the opportunity to really push the students academically in order to help get them the best exam results possible. Whilst a lot of the schemes of work are already in place, you will have the freedom to amend them to match your own teaching style in what is a long-term consistent role.

Pay: In line with teacher pay scale as of September 2023 (M1 – UPS3)

Requirements for the role:

  • Must have recognized UK QTS in Secondary German (essential) plus also able to teach French (desirable but by no means essential).
  • Be able to deliver German lessons up to A-Level.
  • Ideally live in or within commuting distance to Altrincham.
  • Must have experience of delivering to A-level AQA curriculum.
  • Both ECT’s and more experienced teachers encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
