Geography teacher needed for Tameside secondary school for a September start due to a vacancy within the Humanities team. Geography teachers will be delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4 so previous experience of this is essential. The school is currently graded requires improvement overall but has a clear plan to work towards Good or Outstanding.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography teacher looking to work in a forward thinking department, that regularly shares good practice and teaching aids. Located in Tameside there are tram links for those on public transport and a train station within a mile. There are excellent state of the art facilities and teaching aids at this impressive new build. You will be provided with regular opportunities to improve the quality of your teaching through regular sharing of good practice and CPD opportunities.
Graded requires improvement the school are looking to appoint a Geography teacher with a clear passion for raising attainment, have a proven track record of success and demonstrate a desire to help the school achieves its ambition to become a Good to Outstanding school.
