Geography Teacher Required

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are committed to academic excellence. They are looking for a passionate Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department on a full-time basis from September.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to make a real impact on students learning across KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across KS3/4 and GCSE level
• Support and inspire students of all abilities to maximise their full potential
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the geography curriculum
• Track student process and provide feedback when necessary
• Engage in the wider school community, working collaboratively with other members of staff

• QTS with a strong background in Geography
• Passionate about teaching and learning, maintaining high expectations for all students
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive working culture
• Committed to ongoing professional development
• Good knowledge of current teaching techniques and behavioural management
