Job Description: As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality geography lessons to students at various grade levels. Your primary goal will be to foster a deep understanding and appreciation for the subject, encouraging students to think critically about the world's physical and human processes. You will be part of a supportive and dedicated faculty, collaborating with fellow educators to enhance the overall learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging geography lessons that align with the national curriculum and school standards.
  • Encourage students to explore and analyze geographic concepts, using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field (PGCE in Education is desirable).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Demonstrable experience in teaching geography to students at various levels.
  • Passion for geography education and a strong commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
