Geography Teacher
Are you a Geography Teacher looking for a new role? Newly Qualified or seeking a new challenge this is the ideal role for you. My partner school is a large and successful secondary school in Bradford, BD6 who are looking to appoint a Geography Teacher to start in January 2020. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and successful Humanities Department in a thriving educational environment.
I am looking to appoint a Geography Teacher in a school with a "Good" Ofsted on a full time, 5 days a week basis. As a Geography Teacher you will be expected to plan and deliver all aspects of the Geography curriculum to KS3 and KS4 in your specialist subject area. Reporting to the Head of Department you will be required to monitor student progress, collect data and provide feedback to students, parents and carers.
Teaching Personnel are looking for Geography Teachers who:
- Have worked in UK secondary schools previously.
- Have taught Geography on the 1-9 grading system.
- Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification.
- NQTs with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet.
- Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people.
- Have a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service OR BE WILLING TO DO SO.
