An opportunity to join Ofsted graded ‘Good’ partner secondary school in Prestwich, who are seeking a Geography teacher that has experience of teaching the subject up to KS4 level.

  • Full time post for the full academic year from January 2021 (or sooner of possible)
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (GBP24,373-GBP40,490)
  • Easily accessible via public transport (close to Metrolink stop)
  • Teaching Geography up to GCSE level

Our partner secondary school is a smaller than average comprehensive school in the Prestwich area of North Manchester. The school is graded by Ofsted as ‘Good’ and has an excellent reputation within the local community. This role will come with full department responsibilities of planning and marking and will be on a fixed term contract for 12 months in the first instance.

As a Geography teacher at our client school, prospective candidates should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or have other relevant qualifications
  • Have experience teaching Geography throughout both KS3 and KS4
  • Have an ability to inspire children
  • Be able to prepare high quality, engaging lessons
