A great opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is able to encourage a love of Geography amongst young people at a vibrant secondary school.
- Full time Geography Teacher
- Starting in February 2021 - July 2021 initially (Maternity cover)
- Pay in line with teacher pay scale MPS/UPS
- Teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Bury based secondary school (M45) with a supportive Senior Leadership Team
- Post available to Geography teachers of all levels - PGCE with QTS
The Geography teacher will deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum and be able to successfully raise attainment in the subject. You will be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching.
The Headteacher is looking for a Geography teacher to join their Humanities department who will deliver inspiring and engaging lessons to encourage pupil to reach their full potential in the subject on a temporary basis. The school can be reached via car or local public transport links from in and around of Bury.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
