Geography Teacher, Liverpool

  • The Archdiocese has a network of 37 secondary schools
  • CPD Opportunity - NASEN, Team Teach, Catholic Ethos, etc
  • GWS - Join our guaranteed workforce

Teaching Personnel are supporting a secondary Liverpool based school with sourcing a Teacher of Geography for the new term. This is a mixed co-educational school, OFSTED rated “good” on the road to outstanding.

The ability to teach other humanities subjects outside of teaching Geography are highly advantageous but by no means a requirement to successfully being placed in the post. Being part of the Catholic Archdiocese the school has an excellent network to support your career progression and development.

Noted by OFSTED on a recent inspection “Teachers expect a high level of effort from students and plan their lessons so students have to find out information for themselves and work things out with the minimum of help from teachers”. The ideal teacher of Geography must be able to demonstrate the ability to differentiate lessons to suit the needs of all students and will be enthusiastic and driven to help students succeed.

If you would like to apply for this opportunity please call Celena in the Liverpool Secondary branch on 0151 285 4258.

Not what you're look for?

Teaching Personnel is delighted to announce their Catholic Schools Recruitment Partnership with Liverpool Archdiocese. The Archdiocese has a network of 37 secondary schools and colleges across 8 local education authorities. Many of these schools have forged strong links with Teaching Personnel and use our services and candidates as part of their recruitment process.

Not looking for work straight away? We can send your CV directly to the Director of Archdiocese and his team in order to be considered for work in September 2016.

We’d also love to hear from those teachers not looking for a full time post. The Archdiocese schools are looking for a bank of teachers to support them on a daily basis, covering short term absences.
