Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a large secondary school in the Darlington area for a maternity cover from December 2020 until the end of the academic year. This is a full time requirement at this ‘good’ rated secondary school with a fantastic reputation in the Darlington area.

This large secondary school is located in the heart of Darlington who are recruiting for a Geography teacher for a maternity cover to start in December. If you get on well in the school, this will run until July 2021 in order to cover the full maternity. This is a full time Geography teaching position following the AQA syllabus primarily focussed on teaching GCSE level (year 7 – 10) with some year 11 classes dependent upon experience. The school are happily taking applications from teachers of any experience level so please apply if you are interested whether you are experienced or a newly qualified teacher.

Highlights of this Geography teaching position:

  • Full time maternity cover required: Geography teacher for 7 months
  • Start from December when the Geographer is due to leave (potential to start sooner for a handover period)
  • Pay will be dependent upon experience and in line with payscale : GBP25714 - GBP41604 per annum
