Geography Teacher

Geography teacher required for mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Bury.

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client Secondary school in the Bury LEA. The school require a full time Geography teacher to join their faculty following the May half term period to cover a 12 month Maternity leave (w/c 3^rd June).

This full time temporary position is open to Geography and Humanities teachers who have experience teaching Geography to both Key Stage Three and GCSE level.

• Full time temporary teacher of Geography required, June start.

• Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)

The incoming Geography teacher will be required to teach students from Key Stage Three and GCSE across the ability range, with excellent resources and schemes of work in place. The successful Geography teacher will be provided with regular CPD and progression opportunities within this improving department.

This is a well established Secondary school in the heart of Bury town centre with excellent public transportation links from both central Manchester and Rochdale. For those with their own transport, the school is just a short drive from the M66 making the surrounding areas; Rochdale, Prestwich, Bolton and Rossendale easily commutable. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
