The School
The school is based in the East Riding of Yorkshire and has recently recruited a new Head Teacher with an excellent reputation locally. They follow a positive discipline behaviour policy and belong to a well-established local Trust.
The role
The school are looking to recruit a fully Qualified Geography Teacher to support their KS3 - KS4 classes. You will therefore be expected to teach Geography up to GCSE standard. This position is to begin on a temporary basis with permanent positions available for an excellent Geography Teacher who is able to improve pupil attainment. NQT's with teaching placements will be considered.
To be successful in this position you must therefore have:
- PGCE in Secondary Geography
- QTS
- Ability to provide educational based references
- An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service (can apply through Teaching Personnel)
This position is to begin September 2019, an earlier start may be considered if the suitable candidate is available.
