If so Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a Geography teacher for a client school in Bolton in readiness for September and the successful candidate will be employed on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Our client school are looking to fill a gap in the schools Geography department, Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Geography teacher who would be confident teaching the subject to pupils aged 11-16.  The school are particularly looking to employ a Geography teacher that can create engaging lessons for students and influence them to achieve better in this particular subject.

• Must be able to teach students of mixed abilities
• Good knowledge of Geography and have a notable interest in the subject
• The ability to engage students in there studies is crucial
• Have obtained a PGCE in Humanities – Geography KS3 and GCSE teaching experience essential

This school is situated close to the centre of the growing town of Westhoughton within Bolton Council’s boundaries. The school is located on the border of Bolton and Wigan and is located just off the M61. The school is close to both Westhoughton and Daisy Hill train stations and a bus service run regularly here from Bolton town centre and is easily accessible via public transport.
