The Head teacher at our partner school in Redcar is seeking to appoint a full-time Geography teacher starting from May 2024. This school is seeking a talented practitioner to join their highly successful Humanities department. Responsibilities:

Support with delivering lessons and managing student behaviour.
Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help students with special educational needs or those requiring additional support.
Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to monitor student progress and address concerns.

Qualifications/Requirements:

QTS and Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational environment
