General teaching assistant – Bolton

A primary school located in Farnsworth, Bolton (BL4) is currently looking to appoint a teaching assistant to support in the Year 2 class, helping to support the pupils as they prepare for their SATs exams. As this is an essential year for the Year 2 pupils, the Head teacher is looking for a teaching assistant with previous experience working in a class room setting.    

The Head teacher is looking for a nurturing and energetic teaching assistant to join the Key Stage 1 team and support pupils in the class room and leading interventions in English and Maths to raise attainment academically.

A successful candidate should:

  • Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Have a creative approach to learning
  • Be a good communicator and work well as part of a team

This Farnworth based primary school has previously been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school works closely with all of its pupils and staff to create a positive learning environment and it has strong links with the community. The school has a warm and welcoming family ethos as pushes all children to reach their full potential.
