University Graduate – Academic Mentor/Teaching Assistant – Camden Secondary school | September start

  • Minimum (2:1) Graduate from UK University
  • School Direct program for outstanding Graduate(s)
  • Minimum ÂŁ70 per day for Learning Support Assistant role

A Camden Secondary school is currently looking for a University Graduate to join their impressive school for the new academic year. The position will run for the full academic year.

The Ideal candidate

We are looking for an ambitious and gifted graduate who has achieved a minimum of a 2:1 degree or above in their studied discipline and are looking for some classroom based experience, before possibly undertaking a teaching qualification themselves. This role is for a graduate with the skills to explain a variety of topics in a manner that will hep raise attainment of varying students.

About the Role

In this Academic Mentoring post you will be working in the department that most closely correlates with your skills, experiences, and formal qualifications. You will be working with pupils who are struggling in their studies and you will be helping them reach their targets. As an Academic mentor you will work 1:1 and in small groups with talented and gifted children, as well as challenging pupils.

The School has a track record of developing talented graduates and Teaching Assistants into Teachers through Schools Direct.
