Are you passionate about the learning development of children? Do you have at least 3 months experience supporting pupils in a classroom based setting? If so then we want to hear from you!
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking 2x general teaching assistants who are energetic, intellectual and able to use their own initiative when required.
The Primary School is located in Wembley, a short distance away from Wembley Triangle. The nearest train stations are: Wembley Central underground station, Stonebridge Park underground station and Wembley Stadium railway station.
This is a multi-cultural, two-form entry Primary School that prides itself on delivering high quality lessons to all pupils. There is an established senior leadership team in place who are supportive to all members of staff.
About the role:
This role is for a teaching assistant to work in KS1 and entails:
*Supporting the classroom teacher with the setting up of classroom activities
*Supporting pupils in the classroom with Literacy and Numeracy
*Supporting lower ability children to ensure that they do not fall behind the rest of the class
*Providing feedback to the classroom teacher
*Lunchtime and playtime duty may be required
The ideal candidate:
*At least 3 months classroom or tutoring experience
*Good command of the English Language
*Sound knowledge of Phonics
*Flexible and capable of using your own initiative
