General Cover Teacher Needed ASAP

Are you a qualified teacher seeking flexible work?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with numerous mainstream Secondary schools across Cambridge who are in need of General Cover Teachers.

Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher or an experienced teacher and would like to network with a number of new schools around the area we’d love to help!

Whether you’re looking for a full or part time, short or long term position we would like to hear from you. Working on a supply basis will require you to ideally have your own form of transport or be in an area with good transport links.

Cover required may be on the morning calls, as well as pre-planned absences where we will be able to provide you with advanced notice of work, allowing you plenty of time to prepare for the day ahead.

The role can vary from school to school, but generally responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the classroom ready for a lesson.
  • Delivering the pre-set work.
  • Marking work complete for the day and leaving a handover for the teacher to return to.
  • Ensuring the class stays on task and safeguarding and behaviour policies are followed.
  • £125- £150 per day (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
