Calling on Future Teachers! A South East London based Secondary School are seeking an aspiring Teacher for a Cover Supervisor role

I am calling on the *future teachers* of London looking for a role in January!

A full-time Cover supervisor is required for a mixed community comprehensive school based in Beckenham. If you want to join a school where the young people are challenged to succeed and are well taught and cared for by a dedicated team of professionals, then look no further. The school are specifically looking for graduates and Cover Supervisors who are looking to Teach in the future, and be part of the following scheme:

The school is a large comprehensive school, with circa 1350 students including the sixth from department. The school focuses on ways to instil their new shared values in all of their work:

Integrity: Making the right decisions by following their shared values

Responsibility: Playing an active part in their learning, behaviour, environment and community

Endeavour: Working hard, showing pride and demonstrating commitment in everything they do

Innovation: Encouraging the discovery of new skills and concepts by taking risks so they explore and improve

Empathy: Nurturing their relationships through care and respect for each other and their willingness to have fun and succeed together

THE ROLE: You will be responsible for supervision of classes to cover absent teachers, some planning and marking, providing continuity of student learning and promoting positive values, attitudes and good student behaviour to confident and ambitious students. Expected to start in January 2018, with an option to then join on a permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

An interest in Teacher training

Strong behaviour Management

Experience of having worked with students in the 11-16 age range

A 2:1 degree

Good standard of literacy and numeracy
