Cover Supervisor - Flexible hours and Fixed term contracts

• Weekly pay - daily rates of £60-£70

We are recruiting for Cover Supervisors for Schools based in the S2 and S5 areas of Sheffield.

The schools are both modern, ambitious Academies who are involved in school trusts with other schools in the city and other parts of the countries. Both take part in teacher training programmes and any graduates who are interested in becoming qualified teachers would be considered for future teaching positions.

The positions would be suitable for candidates who are experienced working within education and are confident in the role of a Cover Supervisor as well as candidates who are looking for their first position in education and want to gain more experience.

The day to day position will involve covering full classes of students in key stages 3 and 4, in various subjects and various year groups. You will be expected to cover subjects that are not necessarily linked to the qualification you have, however schools will link up wherever possible the classes that suit your experiences. You will not be expected to plan, mark or assess the work of the students.

Flexibility will be required of all candidates as you may find you are working in different schools as well as finding yourself covering on a 121 basis and small group basis within the support teams in school.
