Job Title: GCSE Tutor

Location:

South East England, East Sussex, Brighton

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Salary:

£25 - £25 Per hour

Qualifications:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Job Duties:

1. Provide personalised tutoring to GCSE students in various subjects.

2. Develop tailored lesson plans based on individual student needs and learning styles.

3. Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure academic improvement.

4. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to provide feedback on student performance.

5. Stay updated on curriculum changes and exam requirements to deliver relevant and up-to-date instruction.

Required Qualifications:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

2. Experience in teaching GCSE level subjects

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge and Skills:

1. In-depth understanding of the GCSE curriculum and exam requirements

2. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs

3. Proficiency in using educational technology and resources

Working Conditions:

1. Part-time hours, flexible schedule

2. Work primarily in educational institutions or private tutoring settings

3. May require travel to student locations

4. Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
