Location: South East England, Oxfordshire, Banbury

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide tutoring and support to students studying for their GCSE exams
  • Develop tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement
  • Help students prepare for exams by reviewing materials and practising exam questions
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring GCSE students
  • Excellent knowledge of the GCSE curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience:

  • Proven experience in teaching or tutoring GCSE students
  • Demonstrated success in helping students achieve their academic goals

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the GCSE curriculum and exam requirements
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in using educational technology and resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in teaching a diverse range of learners

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a classroom or tutoring environment
  • Full-time hours, with occasional evening or weekend work required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
