Are you nearing the completion of your Teaching Degree with QTS? Or perhaps you're a PGCE student wrapping up your final teaching placement? Looking to secure your first teaching position this September?

Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for dynamic and passionate PGCE students to join our client schools in the upcoming academic year. Whether you're seeking part-time or full-time positions, whether you're an experienced primary teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT), we have primary teaching opportunities available on both supply and long-term contracts tailored to your preferences.

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Are ambitious and motivated, with comprehensive curriculum knowledge
  • Can inspire confidence in students, nurturing a lasting expectation of educational achievement
  • Have the passion to effectively transmit their belief in education and cater to the diverse learning needs of a mixed-ability classroom
  • Can cultivate professional relationships with both pupils and staff
  • Ensure effective classroom management in alignment with the school's behaviour policy

Applicants Must:

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply - full assistance provided)
  • Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (compulsory for Wales) - note: English residents can also register, opening doors to opportunities on both sides of the border
  • Provide two professional or character references
  • Reside in South Wales, have plans to relocate there soon, or be willing to commute to South Wales

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
