Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Are you interested in a career in education?
Do you have experience working with young people?
Do you hold a degree and possess a passion for teaching others?
Would like to gain invaluable experience prior to starting your Teacher Training?
We would love to hear from you!
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of successful secondary schools throughout Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas who are looking for graduates to work on a teacher training programme. We are in the process or rolling our Future Teacher Programme across West Kent and East Sussex.
Initially the role would involve working on a flexible, part-time basis, working as a Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor and Mentor. As the year goes on and you gain more experience, you will have the opportunity of being appointed on a full-time basis and/or permanently.
Whilst experience working in schools isn't essential, you will need to demonstrate the ability to build professional relationships with both adults and students, you will need to be positive, flexible and charismatic and be able to manage a classroom and busy teaching timetable. The ability to cope under pressure is essential.
This is an opportunity not to be missed. If you are interested in applying or discussing further, please contact Ashley Arnold as soon as possible with a copy of your CV and covering letter explaining why you believe you are suitable for the post.
