Functional Skills Maths Tutor – Bingham, Nottinghamshire (£25–£30 per hour)
Location: Bingham, Nottinghamshire
Contract Type: Flexible hours (part-time and full-time opportunities available)
Pay: £25–£30 per hour, dependent on experience
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a resilient and dedicated Functional Skills Maths Tutor to support learners in the Bingham area. This role involves delivering one-to-one or small group tuition to students who require additional support with their numeracy skills, helping them progress towards their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and targeted Functional Skills Maths sessions (Entry Level to Level 2)

Tailor teaching methods to suit individual learner needs

Monitor and record student progress effectively
-
Encourage learner confidence and independence in mathematics
We are looking for tutors who:

Are resilient, reliable, and passionate about education

Have experience delivering Functional Skills Maths or a strong background in teaching Maths

Understand the Functional Skills Maths curriculum
-
Can work independently and manage a small caseload of learners

Build positive, supportive relationships with students from a variety of backgrounds

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
