Fully Qualified SEN Teacher – NE24, Northumberland
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a supportive SEN setting in the NE24 area of Northumberland. This role is perfect for someone who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
About the Role
You will be working closely with students with Special Educational Needs, delivering tailored and engaging lessons that help them grow in confidence, independence, and academic ability.
You’ll play a key role in shaping positive learning experiences and supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and adapt creative lessons to meet individual SEN needs
- Provide high-quality 1:1 and small group support
- Work with students with ASD, ADHD, and a range of learning difficulties
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Track progress and celebrate student achievements
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience working within SEN (preferred but not essential for strong candidates)
- Strong classroom management and adaptability
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

- Location: NE24, Northumberland
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Part-time / Flexible
- Salary: Competitive rates based on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
