Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a beautiful school in Worthing that is a highly desirable place to work. The school are looking to employ a Year 3 teacher for 2 terms. This position is starting in September and will finish at Easter next year. Positions at the school very rarely come up due to it's excellent staff retention. But this position is covering someone who is moving to a different part of the country. There is potential for this position to go permanent for the right candidate.

The school are willing to pay up to TMS6 to find the right teacher to take this class. Broken down into a daily rate this works out between £100 - £180 per day. The Head Teacher has said they would consider an NQT to apply as they would put you through 2 terms of your NQT year or even the whole year if it goes permanent. The head would like a passionate, innovative and dedicated practitioner that can hit the ground running in September. You will be working alongside 2 other teacher's within Year 3 and would plan all the work together. The class you will be taking over is of mixed ability and has 31 pupils in it. You will have support from a Teaching Assistant that has been at the school for a year.

The school is easily accessible via public transport and is a short 5 minute walk from a main train station in Worthing so it is not a requirement that you drive.

If you are interested in this position then please email an up to date CV or register your details today on our website www.teachingpersonnel.com so one of our primary consultants can contact you. Alternatively you can call us today to discuss this job further on 01273 862 430.
