About the role

-1:1 Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistant required, Mon to Fri 830-1530

-As soon as possible start, until October halfterm as a minimum. Possibly longer

-Pay rate starts at £89.38, can be increased depending on qualifications / experience

-You will be required to support a pupil on an individual basis who has a diagnosis of trauma. There is high emotional support needed and sp requires someone who can be calm and patient with challenging behaviour

About you

-Previous experience of working with children with ALN would be preferred but not essential. This pupil requires a calm, patient and understanding Teaching Assistant who will work with him closely by engaging with his interests to get the most of his potential

-You will be required to hold either a Teaching Assistant qualification or have experience in working with children that we can reference

-Team Teach qualification preferred, not essential

-You will also need to be fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

-To be put forward for this role, you would need to undergo a 30-minute face to face registration with Teaching Personnel which would include reference and DBS checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
