Full-time role starting ASAP - Pupil Support/Intervention Assistant

Teaching Personnel is working with a college based in Nuneaton (CV11)   that caters for young people aged 14-18, who are completing a variety of courses. These roles are based within their Alternative Provision centre in Nuneaton - working with 14-16 year olds.

Whilst the college is a mainstream college, the school does also have a specialist learning department that allows them to cater for pupils with additional needs. They are currently looking to fill a number of roles through Teaching Personnel.

Pupil Intervention & Academic Support - the role is to start ASAP!

• Working with the pupil support team to create individual pupil plans and interventions to make a positive impact on childrens education and  wellbeing
• Creating academic and therapeutic interventions
• Helping to deliver the interventions
• Supporting pupils who are struggling Socially & Emotionally
• Experience within this line of work would be great - a Psychology background would be ideal!

The role is a permanent role, following Teaching Personnel's 'Temp to Perm' service before moving on to the college's contract.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Expereinece in a similar environment with young people with Mental health issues
• Experience creating and delivering academic and therapeutic interventions
• The ideal candidate will be educated at least to degree level

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
