Year 3 Teacher Required!

Primary School, Orrell – January 2026 Start

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a friendly and nurturing primary school in the Orrell area, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to join a supportive team and help pupils make a strong start to Key Stage 2.

About the Role:

  • Full-time Year 3 class teacher position.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with the Lower Key Stage 2 team to ensure consistency and high-quality teaching.
  • Deliver small-group support and intervention sessions where required.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 3.
  • Confident behaviour management and the ability to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic teacher committed to supporting progress and well-being.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (completed during registration).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
