Full-Time Cover Supervisor

North Manchester, Oldham & Rochdale Areas
Start Date: ASAP or September

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated, flexible, and reliable Full-Time Cover Supervisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and looking for a consistent, rewarding role within secondary schools in your local area.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play an important part in maintaining continuity of learning across a variety of subjects. You’ll supervise lessons during teacher absences, support students with their work, and help create a positive, engaging classroom environment.

About the Role

In this full-time position, you will:
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects.
Manage classroom behaviour and promote a safe, focused learning environment.
• Support students with their learning and respond to questions or concerns.
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery and continuity.
• Provide feedback to staff on lesson coverage and student engagement.
• Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to wider school activities.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and clear communication with both schools and Teaching Personnel.

Applicants must live in or be able to commute to North Manchester, Oldham, or Rochdale.

• A degree in any subject.
• Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in classroom management and behaviour support.
• A proactive, adaptable, and professional attitude.
• A genuine interest in education and helping students succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
