This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

Are you looking for part time work in South East London?

Would you like to work as a Teaching Assistant on a day to day basis?

I am looking for flexible teaching assistants to work on an ad hoc basis in a number of SEN schools in South East London. You will be covering for absent members of staff as and when necessary for each school - this could be covering sickness, training courses, trips, medical appointments or other planned absences.

You must have experience of working with children, preferably those with SEN, however this is not essential. You must have a positive attitude and the type of personality to get stuck in anywhere.

I work with a range of SEN schools who will need you to work for them, including primary and secondary schools. The needs of the children in our schools ranges from autism to severe and complex needs to very challenging behaviour.

If you like the sound of this kind of role I would very much like to hear from you. Please use either the telephone number provided to call me, or send your CV to the email address shown.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
