MFL Teacher, French and Spanish September

  • Full time MFL teaching position for the back of the maternity
  • Pay ranging form ÂŁ95-ÂŁ150 per day
  • Excellent pupil behaviour and achievement

High achieving secondary school in Stockport require an MFL teacher to cover the back end of a maternity in September. The timetable will consist of teaching French and Spanish to KS4 level with the option to teach to AS/A Level if desired.

This MFL post would be well suited to a teacher who has a proven track record of raising student attainment and achieving results. Initially this French and Spanish teaching post will be full time until February half term subject to change on the returning teacher.

Academically the school excels achieving well above national averages with 70% of students achieving at least 5 A*-C grades in their GCSEs.

The school has a population of just over 1000 students and is a traditional mixed comprehensive. Situated in the SK7 post code the school is located just off the A523, has a train station in the area and frequent bus routes directly outside.

Graded Good by Ofsted in their most recent report the school is praised for its management and leadership from the Head teacher and for the progress that students make throughout their time at the school.

MFL teachers interested in this post will need to have experience teaching both French and Spanish with at least one of them delivering to KS4. A requirement for this post will be acceptable school based references and a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
