Are you looking for your next role as a Teacher of Food Technology? Would you like to join a school that is passionate about the development of their staff?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Food Technology for a role at a partner school in Salford commencing from September 2019. Initially on a fixed term contract for the duration of the academic year, there is a permanent opportunity within the department for the successful candidate to potentially fill. This Ofsted 'Good' academy would also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs).

  • Full time Teacher of Food Technology required from September 2019
  • Fixed term contract for the duration of the academic year
  • Opportunity to fill a permanent gap
  • Teaching Food Technology up to GCSE level
  • Modern academy in Salford, rated as 'Good' by Ofsted
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

Our partner academy is located close to the Trafford Park area of Salford and was rated by 'Good' in all areas by Ofsted in 2015. The campus is located a short drive from the M60 motorway and is close to local public transport links.

"We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Food Technology to start with us from September 2019. This is an exciting opportunity to join a department that has a track record of career progression at a school with a strong learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for Food Technology and will be able to share this with students through engaging and exciting lessons which shows progress throughout." Principal.

As a Food Technology at our partner school in Salford, the incoming teacher will be responsible for teaching Food Technology to both KS3 and KS4 level. Full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking will be included in this role, although the Technology department have a strong passion for collaborative planning and sharing resources. Experience of teaching other areas of Technology including Resistant Materials, Textiles or Product Design is desirable but not essential to this role.
