Full-time teacher required to join a high achieving, Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school located within the Wigan LEA.
- Food technology teacher needed
- Required on a full-time basis from the 20th April 2020.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24,373 - GBP40,490
- Secondary school located in Wigan, easily accessible from Salford, Manchester and Wigan areas.
‘Due to a long term sickness, we require a Food technology teacher who is committed to delivering the highest standard of teaching and learning. The incoming Food Technology teacher will be able to stretch the learning of our more able pupils as well as raising attainment across the ability range. The incoming Food Technology teacher will hold a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes’ Head of Technology.
The school wish to appoint a Food Technology teacher who;
- Hold a PGCE specialising in Secondary Technology.
- Has previous experience teaching Food technology.
- Has the ability to consistently provide their pupils with good and outstanding teaching.
This secondary school is slightly larger than the national average with approximately 900 pupils on roll. The school is just a short drive away from the A577 and has an abundance of public transportation links to surrounding areas; Bolton, Salford and Wigan.
