We are searching for an ambitious Technology Teacher able to start this May in one of our highly rated secondary schools until the end of the academic year. Our partner school are looking for an individual to join their department in a full-time position, supporting across KS3 and KS4. Previous experience teaching is essential for this role along with QTS.

You will support across a range of year groups, delivering detailed and practical lessons upholding the school values. This is a full-time position with a view to go permanent - you will plan, mark, and attend department meetings.

It is a highly rated school, which has received positive feedback from all staff members, as they hold a strong supporting staffing system, with personal development opportunities. The school are also known for their state-of-the-art facilities as well as resources available to all members of staff.

Our partnered school is highly accessible, along with on-site parking. It is based in central Rochdale which would be ideal for those living in surrounding areas.

You must:

  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Aware of food hygiene and nutrition
  • Has an enthusiastic outlook and passion for cooking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience teaching
