Flexible work for University Students - Teaching assistant
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Are you a student looking for a flexible job that can work around your timetable?
Do you need to earn a bit of money while doing your degree?
If your answer is YES, this is the job for you!
We have part time teaching assistant roles available in Bournemouth, where you can decide or just let us know if you want to work on the day! You will have your own online diary where you log in and update your availability so you can let us know what days, mornings, afternoons and evenings you can work around your degree and social life!
Becoming a teaching assistant is fantastic for building experience working with children, whilst still completing your degree. As well as gaining experience, it is also a great way of securing a permanent position once your Uni course is completed.
Candidates that do not have a desire to work in education in the future can still apply; as this is a great way of earning money in a very flexible manner (just to top up those student loans!), however it is desirable that these candidates have previous experience with at least one of the following either professionally or personally:
- Learning Difficulties Experience
- Behavioural Difficulties
- Psychology
- Youth/Community work experience
- Care work
- Mentoring
Working as a teaching assistant for Teaching Personnel offers the following benefits:
- Specialist Recruitment Consultant dedicated to finding you work
- Flexible work in schools local to you
- Access to our CPD Academy
- Pension Scheme
- Minimum of £9.50 an hour
- Weekly Pay
- Refer a Friend Scheme
