Pay Rate: £13.75 to £14.50 per hour (dependant on experience)

We are seeking a Flexible Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident adapting to different classroom environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning in small groups or 1:1
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
• Supporting children with additional needs (SEND experience is a plus)
• Contributing to a safe and stimulating learning environment

Woolton is well-connected via public transport:

• Bus routes: Regular services from Liverpool city centre and surrounding areas
• Train stations: Nearby stations include Hunts Cross and Liverpool South Parkway
• Parking: On-site and nearby street parking available for drivers

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working in a primary school setting, ideally in Woolton or nearby
• A flexible and proactive approach to work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and wellbeing
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
