Teaching Personnel:
Role: Teaching Assistant (flexible)
Schedule: Part Time
Start Date: November 2025
Location: Wavertree (L15)
Duration: Temporary
Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Flexible Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wavertree. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is confident working across different year groups and classroom settings.
The school is committed to providing a nurturing learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. As a flexible TA, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality support to both pupils and staff, adapting to the needs of the school on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as needed
- Assist with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning environments
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience supporting children in a primary school setting
- Be adaptable and confident working across different age groups
- Be patient, approachable, and understanding of individual learning needs
- Hold or be willing to work towards a relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, CACHE, online CPD)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
