Primary Supply Teachers – Day-to-Day Roles

Area: Knotty Ash (L14) and surrounding Liverpool locations
Work Type: Flexible, day-to-day supply
Open to: Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners
Start Date: From May 2026

Daily Pay: £120 – £232.56 (rate dependent on experience)

 

From May 2026, Teaching Personnel will be supporting local primary schools in Knotty Ash with their day-to-day staffing requirements and are looking to recruit committed and enthusiastic teachers who value flexibility in their working week. These opportunities are ideal for those seeking variety, control over their availability, and experience across different school environments.


The Opportunity

As a supply teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Covering classes using existing lesson plans across a range of primary year groups
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring continuity of learning
  • Providing short-term cover for staff absences, CPD days and unforeseen needs
  • Adapting quickly to new school settings and routines
  • Meeting safeguarding expectations and following individual school policies

This role is well-suited to confident teachers who enjoy working in varied settings and are comfortable stepping into different classrooms at short notice.


Who We’re Looking For

You will be well-suited to this role if you:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply
  • Are confident managing behaviour and maintaining pupil engagement
  • Are professional, flexible, and quick to adapt
  • Are happy to travel across Knotty Ash and the wider Liverpool area
  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS registered on the update service
  • Bring a positive, proactive approach to your teaching practice
