Flexible Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a flexible General Cover Supervisor from September. Whether you’re looking for flexible work alongside your studies or considering a career in teaching, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a range of mainstream secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent.
The role:
- Flexible working pattern (pick your days!)
- Competitive daily pay rate based off experience
- Part-time or full-time opportunities available
As a general Cover Supervisor, you will cover a range of lessons and age groups in the absence of their class teacher. You will ensure all pre-set work is completed to a good standard and maintain behaviour, always adhering to the school’s behaviour policies. Additionally, you will provide updates to head of departments on behaviour and progress when necessary.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with young people in any setting
- Confidence and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience within the classroom is not necessary
- A genuine passion for working with young people
- Subject knowledge is not necessary as you will be potentially covering a range of subjects using pre-planned/pre-set work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
