Female P.E. Teacher September 2024

Secondary School based near Central Manchester

Teaching Personnel are looking for a female PE Teacher to cover a maternity leave position starting in September that would go on until the end of the school year and more than likely become a permanent role from following year as the school believe they will then have a space within the department for the successful applicant. Should you register with Teaching Personnel for this role, it is worth noting that you will also be eligible to take on other roles should you not be successful in applying for this specific role.

The school is based near the centre of Manchester and is situated a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. The successful candidate will be a confident subject practitioner and will have strong behaviour management skills. The role will involve you covering practical PE lessons to both KS3 and KS4 classes.

  • Pay: £153 - £238 per day depending on experience (MPS/UPS teacher pay scales)
  • Long-term maternity leave (most likely becoming permanent)
  • Secondary school based close to Manchester city centre
  • Practical P.E. lessons for KS3 and KS4
  • Must have recognized UK QTS in PE
  • Must be female (due to leading all female classes)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
