EYFS Teaching Assistant
A vacancy has arisen for a passionate and proactive practitioner with recent Early Years experience, seeking work in the South Shore area of Blackpool.
The role is full-time (08:30 – 15:30, Mon – Fri) and is due to commence from 24th February 2020 until the end of the academic year. Rates of pay range from GBP9.50 to GBP10.50 per hour, dependent upon experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored learning activities to small groups of children across the Early Years Framework and curriculum
- Engage, motivate and encourage learners
- Assist the Class Teacher in managing behaviour
- Effectively observe, assess and feedback
- Record keeping and administrative tasks, such a preparing resources
- Create classroom displays and provide support with preparing for and setting up continuous provision
- Attend meetings and contribute to the extra-curricular opportunities provided by the school
In order to be successful in your application for this position, you must hold at least a Level 2 certificate in a subject relevant to the advertised role and a minimum of 6 months experience of providing support in an Early Years setting. You will also require a child workforce DBS registered on the online update service.
