EYFS Teaching Assistant – Autism Support (Fleetwood)

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Location: Mainstream Primary School, Fleetwood

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children? We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team and provide tailored support for children with Autism within our Early Years setting.

About the Role:

• Work closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive, nurturing environment.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with Autism, helping them access the curriculum and develop social and communication skills.
• Implement strategies to promote independence and positive behaviour.
• Liaise with parents, staff, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children in EYFS, ideally supporting SEND/Autism.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) desirable.
