Early Years Specialist Teaching Assistant required for a Primary School in Blackpool, Lancashire (FY1)
The opportunity has arisen at a Primary School in Blackpool for a EYFS Practitioner starting ASAP. The role is to work in a larger than average EYFS provision, supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis. The school are looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant who will be able to encourage learning for the schools earliest learners whilst creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for all.
To be considered for this post, you will have at least 6 months experience working in a EYFS setting. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting learners with SLCN and will be comfortable supporting with tailored sessions to assist with speech and language development. The role will include 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of needs. Ideally, applicants will be able to adapt their support style to suit individual children and will be comfortable with personal care.
The school are dedicated to creating a positive and exciting early learning environment. The school boasts a modern EYFS unit with a range of technologies and resources. The Head Teacher and Senior Leaders of the school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about working with children in the Early Years and will become a role model for children across the wider school.
This full-time role is to start ASAP or as soon as the necessary vetting checks have been carried out for the successful person. The school are accepting applicants up until Friday 24th May 2024, with a view to the role starting on Monday the 3rd June 2024. This full time role will continue for the remainder of this academic year and will move into September 2024.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
