EYFS Teacher, Preston

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Teacher looking to secure a role teaching a class of 29 Reception pupils from 22nd February 2021 on a full-time basis. Although the role is initially temporary, the Head Teacher has expressed a keen interest in offering the appointed candidate a school contract following a successful period of probation.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of teaching EYFS previously is essential; however, both NQTs and fully-inducted Teachers are welcome to apply.

The school is located in the PR5 area of Preston and has been graded ‘GOOD’ in all areas by Ofsted. It was stated that the Head Teacher is an effective and conscientious leader and is the driving force behind on-going school improvement. Pupil behaviour is also good and they are polite and considerate. Overall, the school is smaller than most other primary schools and caters for a high proportion of pupils with special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
