Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher
Location: NG12 Area
Job Description: We are excited to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a supportive school community in the NG12 area. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for young children's learning and development.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that align with the EYFS framework and promote holistic development.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn through play.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration to support children's well-being and learning.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, using a range of observation and assessment tools to inform planning and provide tailored support and extension opportunities.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies that promote positive behavior and social-emotional development.
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification specializing in Early Years Education.
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting, preferably within a nursery or reception classroom.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and proven ability to plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering children's curiosity, creativity, and love for learning.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
