This is a large Infant and Nursery school with a vision to create an ethos where they develop the whole child in a safe and happy environment. Much larger than most Primary Schools, our client school have a majority of pupils from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds. Just over a third of pupils speak English as an additional language. The school receives an average proportion of pupil premium funding.


The early years provision comprises four part-time Nursery classes for three-year-old's and three full-time Reception classes for four-year-old's. The school are currently rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted and the Head Teacher is very proud of the work that is being done within school to maintain this grade so there is a high expectation on all staff to deliver top level work.

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be expected to contribute and teach the curriculum in EYFS with a sound background knowledge of learning at this level. You must be able to use this knowledge to extend the students learning at every opportunity. You will be able to deliver engaging lessons that challenge the students and have excellent differentiation skills. You will have a positive approach to teaching and learning, with strong behaviour management and a proactive attitude.

NQTs will be considered for this post and Overseas Trained Teachers can also be considered if you're able to gain QTS.

Job Responsibilities:

- Ability to engage with and inspire and challenge students.
- The flexibility to get involved with extra-curricular activities.
- Ability to plan and deliver effectively differentiated lessons across the curriculum.

Job Requirements:

- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
- Primary Education trained or EYFS specialist.
- Excellent curriculum knowledge.
