EYFS lead teacher - Catholic primary school Ealing

Location: Ealing

Start date: September

Contract type: full-time

Are you looking for a full time position within a two form entry school, who strives themselves on academic excellence? We are working with a Ofsted rated 'excellent' school in the Ealing area, they are currently looking for a EYFS lead teacher to help run and construct their EYFS curriculum in the new academic year.

The school has created a positive working environment, focused around creating life-long learners and to contribute positively to everything they do. Being a school that embraces individual needs and differences they have a number of facilities to accommodate for each student's development, particularly those with special educational needs.

Ensuring a safe and happy environment is at the forefront of the schools ethos, enriching their children to become confident and resilient individuals.

About the role:

This is a full-time classroom role in a EYFS setting. You will be expected to prepare the learning resources and materials, work closely with your colleagues to prepare and plan lessons in accordance to the national curriculum. Track pupil's attainment and provide feedback. Whilst being the year lead you will be supporting the other teachers and supporting members of staff - planning and creating the lesson plans and activities.

The ideal candidate:

  • Fully qualified teacher status
  • At least 1 years experience teaching in the EYFS setting
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Personable, charismatic and able to work well in a team
  • A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application
  • A proven track record of raising pupil attainment
  • Willing to engage and follow with the Catholic curriculum
