Primary Teaching Assistant
A primary in North Liverpool are currently seeking a full time EYFS/ KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long term basis from January 2023.
The role:
- To provide learning and support for an children within the EYFS and KS1 classrooms to enable all children to fulfil their potential and make good progress. This will involve working with the class teachers to plan and deliver activities and supporting the pupils with routines, transitions and access to high quality teaching and learning.
- Supporting pupils to build positive relationships with pupils, promoting high self-esteem, independence and social inclusion
- Promote high standards of behaviour, responding to incidents in line with the school’s relationships policy
- Assist with the development and delivery of individual education, support and care plans where appropriate
- Demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase pupils’ achievement
- Contribute to the planning and organization of activities, delivering activities inside or outside the classroom, through child initiated and adult-led activities
- Support the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aimed at helping pupils achieve their full potential in all areas of learning
- Organise and manage teaching spaces and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment, including excellent continuous provision both inside and outside
- Use ICT skills to advance pupils’ learning
- Through observations, provide regular feedback to teachers on children’s progress, attainment and barriers to learning Monitor, record and report on progress and attainment Read and understand lesson plans shared prior to lessons, if available
Details:
- Hours approximately 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Primary Teaching Assistant
- £10.77 - £13 per hour
- North Liverpool area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
